The Church of St. Michael the Archangel

Our mission is to "Be a vibrant Parish which exists to respond to the needs of all People."

The Church of St. Michael the Archangel (known by those who call it home simply as St. Michaels) has been serving the people of South Providence and the larger Rhode Island community since 1859. It has been a welcoming place for all to experience the love of Christ.

This includes Catholics who call the parish home; it includes people of faith who are looking for a sacred space to pray; it includes people of no current faith tradition who are exploring Catholicism or seeking something more in life. St. Michaels is a place for all to experience the love of Christ wherever they may be in their journey of faith.
